Hey, I'm vCitro..

Hey, guys..
The blog is pretty dead right now, so I'll write something about me as vCitro, my releases and remixes.

I started making music when I was about eleven years old. I used the demo of Loopworx by Acon Digital Media. That was only sample loops and make beats. After the trial expired, I was looking for some new software to make music in. I saw Fruity Loops Studio, and that really helped.
I've released three EPs. You can read more about them at vCitroMusic.tk.
The 30th July I am going to release a new EP. But in difference to the other, this is going to be SELLED. It's called Frogs, Balloons and Noisy Things. Stream will be available the 23rd July. More info also on my website.

I'm not performing live yet, but I am practicing A LOT, because I am maybe going to make a gig for one I know. I'll perform with my Launchpad and my LPD8, so I need to learn Ableton Live to know.

Remix of the week(/month)..

Yeah.. First I am going to excuse for the late remix of the week.
Lets just say that I've been on vacation..

So, this weeks "Remix of the Week" is Eumig & Chinon's remix of DATA/DEBT's "California Special".
A really french house track. And it's actually from my country, Denmark!
This is the first really frenchy house I've heard from Denmark. Except from the VUF/records, that really rocks too. I'll post some more from them soon.
Eumig & Chinon is actually only one guy. He's music style is very much like Justice or SebastiAn. Actually he sounds like one from Ed Banger or Boys Noize Records.
Anyway, this remix totally rocks. Have a listen!

ReMIX OF THE WEEK

This week's "Remix of the Week" is.. Dam, dam, dam, daaammm..
BOYS NOIZE'S "BIRTHDAY" REMIX OG CUT COPY'S "LIGHTS AND MUSIC".
This remix is the most played track on my iPod in this last month. It minds me of the "Working Together" by Gonzales remix he've made, with the Beat Repeat going through the track. It's VERY good.

The latest release from Dark DJ. Special made for TuneIn Records.
I pretty much love it. He's sound is very unique. I really like the effects he have in the vocal, the pitch shifting and the metallic synths in this release. Worth downloading (:
